My BA and MA are from McGill, though I also spent one year on exchange at Université Paul Valéry in France (Montpellier III). I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, under the supervision of Carole Pateman. After finishing my Ph.D. I taught at Concordia in Montreal for two years, then spent one year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre de recherche en éthique de l’Université de Montréal (CREUM). I have taught at Queen’s in the Department of Political Studies since 2004. During 2010-11, I spent a year as a visitor at the Center for the Study of Social Justice, Oxford, and as an Oliver Smithies Visiting Lecturer at Balliol College. I spent the fall term of 2016 at the Hoover Chair of Economic and Social Ethics at UCLouvain.
